Greenhouse-cooling
Cooling systems for greenhouse horticulture
Greenhouse-cooling is an important component for greenhouse horticulture companies. In certain parts of the world, they simply would not survive without it. Many crops also require cooling technology. As new growing and climate control techniques develop, so too does the need for efficient cooling systems. At Certhon, you are dealing with specialists with great knowledge of the specific cooling requirements for each crop, in climates all over the world. As one of the pioneers in greenhouse cooling, we offer a wide range of possibilities with our personally developed control and monitoring software. The result is a tailor-made solution.
The possibilities for the use of cooling have grown considerably in recent years. Whether this be soil cooling, air cooling or water cooling. And top-down or bottom-up cooling. We have invested in our own developments in recent years, based on tried and tested technology.
The optimum configuration for your project
Certhon invests a great deal of time in the analysis of an optimum cooling configuration for your project. Is only cooling required or does the crop only require active dehumidification? How many days per year is cooling required? Can you combine cooling with the deployment of combined heat and power? Certhon can provide you with an expert answer to all such questions. The analysis and solutions in the inventory phase determine the return on your investment, after all.
We are market leaders with the introduction of our own JSK and JOK. The JSK enables a flexible cooling system: using a single system, you can cool the crop from the top or the bottom, and optimise the greenhouse climate by creating the ideal air circulation. When deploying JOK, you make use of an energy efficient heat pump so that your system can deploy heat and cold simultaneously for the purpose of climate conditioning.
