SanAquastore

Underground rainwater storage

Underground rainwater storage is becoming increasingly popular in modern greenhouse horticulture companies, and not without reason. Discharge of brine water from the reverse osmosis process into the ground is questionable. Governments have therefore been forced to further regulate legislation in the field of water collection and storage.

Underground storage of rainwater also offers many advantages.

Clean water is always available via underground storage, and there is generally no problem in terms of storage capacity. There is no need to sacrifice 'expensive' space above ground. The low cost per cubic metre is an added extra in favour of underground storage.
The Certhon specialists have vast experience with this new method of water storage. All that experience is bundled in an advanced system for underground rainwater storage, called the SanAquastore.

Ideal rainwater storage system

If your ground structure is suitable, the SanAquastore is very probably the ideal solution in your situation too. The use of underground rainwater storage is based on the principle that the rainwater collected is temporarily stored above ground. The water is then filtered and infiltrated in the soil using a special well. When you need water, it can be pumped back up again and stored in the rainwater storage tank above ground.

The Certhon system has a uniquely designed and computer controlled installation. This allows for fully automatic control, as well as continuous monitoring of the composition of the rainwater on the basis of EC standards, among others.
