200000m² - Rose

The company of 200.000 m2 belongs to one of the largest rose growers, cultivating around 125 different varieties. The length, width and position of the greenhouse have been designed to reduce energy losses to a minimum and to ensure maximum operational efficiency. The combination of roof and side wall screening together with energy management allows a reduction in variable costs.
 
We have realized:

• The design and project management;
• Four greenhouse blocks of 50.000 m2 each;
• A Venlo type greenhouse with a 8 m trellis width (2 x 4 m) and 5 m post height;
• A centralised technical room for each 100.000 m2;
• A sorting and packaging hall.
• The complete boiler house plant with a capacity of 9.000 kW per boiler. The available boiler capacity in this project amounts to 74 MW;
• A CO2 dosing system;
• A pipe rail heating system;
• A monorail heating system (suitable for a spraying robot);
• A snow melt heating system;
• An irrigation water heating system;
• A heating system for preheating of combustion air;
• Two vertical heat storage tanks, each with a capacity of 2.100 m3;
• The electrotechnical connection of the systems;
• Delivery and installation of the climate controller.
