46000m² - Phalaenopsis

A phalaenopsis nursery equipped with a complete cooling system based on the JOK system, including in-house developed JSK coolers.
The surface area is 46,000 m2, of which 20,000 m2 is cooled.

We have realized:

• A Venlo type greenhouse of 39,000 m2 with a trellis width of 12 800 mm (3x 4266.6 mm), a bay size of 5 m and a post height of 5.7 m;
• A centrifugal water-cooled heat pump with a capacity of 3150 kW;
• A cold storage tank of 2100 m3;
• The refrigerated sections are cooled with in-house developed JSK's. The JSK’s have a cooling capacity ranging from 150 to 200 watts per m2;
• The JSK’s are driven by the in-house developed BUS control system. This controls not only the frequency of the fans, but the fan also can be read;
• The greenhouse cooling system is based on the in-house developed JOK system;
• Grow Light installation with various light levels (62 , 75.5 en 118 µmol /m²/sec);
• The lights are equipped with DALI, which can control and monitor the fixtures;
• The electrical control of the lighting and greenhouse cooling is done by the in-house developed CAN software.
