A nursery where orchids (Dendrobium) are grown on cultivation tables. This project is supplied turnkey by Certhon. This project shows the strength of Certhon, creating the optimal climate for every greenhouse grower. Surface area: 24,800 m2, of which 7,000 m2 is cooled.

We have realized:

• A Venlo type greenhouse with a trellis width of 12 m and 16 m, a bay size of 5 m and a post height of 5,5 m;
• The basis for the company premises is also supplied by Bosch Inveka.
• A water-cooled screw compressor with a capacity of 1,200 kW ;
• A cooling tower of 1.550 kW for excess heat;
• Top coolers in the cooling, fattening and delivery section with a capacity of 160 W/m2
• The Grow Light installation included 1354 luminaries of 1000 watt each with various light levels (128 to 79 µmol/m²/sec);
• The electro technical controls create the link between the climate computer and the installations. The maximum result of the installation is achieved by the in-house developed BUS technique.
• Water storage silos for daily fertilizer stock and sewer buffer ;
• Overhead irrigation with 3 main pipes for 3 recipes and a mixing tank unit;
• High pressure fogging system;
• 10 permanent water spray beams;
• Roof sprinkler installation with frequency regulated pump.
