Total development and realization of a 15,28 ha turnkey project existing of 6 greenhouses divided in 3 blocks. Special about this project is that it is part of a larger overall project: Dube Tradeport. This project includes a new International Airport (operational from 1st of may 2010), a Trade zone, a Support zone and an Agri zone. The complete project will be developed and executed in cooperation with the local Government. The greenhouses are intended for local growers. A large part of the work will be carried out by local and regional companies whereby the accent will be focused on training and development of certain, by Government designated minorities. This is one of many outcomes of the policy of Mr. Nelson Mandela.We are realizing here:
- 6 Venlo type greenhouses
- Greenhouse heating suitable for tomato, cucumber, pepper and anthurium cultivation;
- 3 seperate boiler houses each with its own heat storage;
- CO2 dosing system based upon kerosene;
- Complete electro installation consisting of 3 blocks, respectively 4, and 4 and 8 ha;
- Greenhouse installation ventilation, screening motors, mixing groups, recirculation fans;
- Complete power steering of the water technical installation;
- All the above mentioned items are regulated and controlled by a Priva computer supplied by us;
- Sulphur evaporators;
- 3 complete water technical units (spaces);
- 16 water storage tanks for treated basin water, drainwater- and disinfected drainwater;
- 4 Vialux HD-UV installations for disinfection of the drainwater with UV light;
- 5 Complete drain collection installation for recirculation incl. drainpumps and drain measurement;
- In 1 greenhouse a special horizontal dewatering ebb and flood installation;
- In 1 greenhouse an overhead irrigation with complete “white” installation;
- In all greenhouses high pressured humidification with UV disinfectors, capacity of 0,5 L/m2/hour, complete stainless steel with a droplet size of approximately 10 micron;
