100000m² - Cucumber

The construction of a cucumber farm of 100,000 m2. The specialty of this project is that the greenhouse heating is 100% powered by a biogas installation.

We have realized:

• A Venlo type greenhouse of 100,000 m2 with a trellis width of 8 m (2 x 4 m), a bay size of 4.5 m and a post height of 6 m.
• The connection of a 1x 8mW (CHP) and a 2 x 7.5 mW (boiler) from the technical area in the greenhouse;
• CO2 dosing system;
• Vertical heat buffer (3.000 m3);
• Specially regulated grow pipe heating;
• Work space heating;
• A complete electro technical connection and linkage of the Priva computer and the recirculation fans, the fan motors, screen motors and complete boiler room system.
