17000m² - Lettuce

Installation of an unique mobile cultivation system for lettuce of 17.000 m2. The lettuce is planted in gutters on the front side of the company. The gutters are then driven through the greenhouse. The spacing between the gutters is adapted to the growth of the crop. When the lettuce is ready for harvesting, the gutters are transported into the packing hall.
 
We have realized:

• An assimilation lighting system above the crop, with a capacity of 52 μ mol / m2 /sec.
• Complete greenhouse heating: 7.000 m2 new construction for mobile lettuce cultivation
• Heating and CO2 dosing system with a central boiler, which is quite revolutionary in lettuce cultivation
